Carpe Diem International School was established in 2017 to make learning and enjoyable and knowledge seeking process. We are located at a prominent peaceful location on Rajpura Sirhind national highway.

The school building is spread in seven acres of land with a lush green playground within its campus and a well-maintained recreational garden. The school campus is designed to cater to the needs of young, growing children providing a pragmatic child-centered environment that makes learning a joyful experience.

The school boasts of the most modern facilities. No efforts have been spared in creating an environment in which students are challenged to seek excellence academically, socially, physically, artistically, and spiritually.

The children spend maximum time in school as students. The school infrastructure then becomes a major factor behind how children see the world as they grow up. Therefore, a great deal of thought has gone into transforming brick walls and concrete slabs have been transformed into an environmentally friendly building of CDI. As you can see, the boundaries are covered with tall and lush green trees. A vast expanse provides a perfect ambiance for an aesthetically chartered school building surrounded by strongly built boundaries with great height, to ensure a safe and secure surrounding.

This is the main entrance of the school; we have a security cabin, where two security guards are placed here 24 X 7 on a shift basis, to prevent any unauthorized excess.

For uninterrupted functioning during school hours, power GENSET has been installed to meet outages and ensure regular supply throughout the day.

The school building has three blocks, the centre is an Administration Block, on the right of the Admin block is the Kindergarten and on the left of the Admin block is Primary and middle classes. The school is under the surveillance of 112 CCTV cameras.

Kindergarten, Primary, and middle blocks are connected to the admin block with biometrics to ensure the safety of the students.

The school has spacious, colorful, and air-conditioned classrooms. Students are provided with comfortable seating with enough space to move around.

For pre-primary students, a good number of toys and activities are placed to keep them occupied.

Laboratories and Library

Science Lab, Language Lab, Audio Visual Labs are available to students to experiment and relate theory to real life. Staff and children access and use the library on daily basis. To facilitate researching the vast content in the world wide web, computers have been installed at the Library with high-speed internet connection and exposure to the e-library.

Environment Projects

Students learn solid waste management through vermin composting. High-quality manure is prepared under special conditions. The importance of 3R’s – Reuse, Reduce, & Recycle- is instilled in the students and helps in sensitizing them towards the importance of the environment.

Infirmary

Health Centre functions throughout school hours to provide first aid and medical attention. Periodical medical check-ups are done and records are maintained. For special medical attention and treatment, parents are informed and specialist doctors are contacted. A qualified nurse is available during school hours.

Sports Club

The Sports Club is committed to providing a healthy sporting habit among the students. It helps to learn teamwork at work and mainly infuses discipline & instills the value system in students. We provide training in Cricket, Taekwondo, and Skating on regular basis during the club timings.

Gymnasium

Wide area for kindergarten children where they use this area for physical exercises and other body kinesthetic activities. The gymnasium is designed in a way to nurture the children and give them the wisdom of their bodies and ability to control physical motion through various gym equipment and toys.

Open Air Auditorium

This is one of the most beautiful structures of Carpe Diem International. Rajpura. It is used for outdoor quizzes, club meetings, and everything in between. It’s a haven for students who want to meet up and have lunch together during break time. It is also used for everything from rock shows to book fairs and is also the official spot for taking group photographs for the outgoing batch every year.

Splash Pool

The sportive little ones enjoy the splash pool facility to beat the heat of the scorching sun. They put their swimsuits on and enjoy water games.

Sand Pit

The sandpit is not just a place for the kids to get messy and have a lot of fun, but the activities conducted here are of crucial importance to the all-around development.

FANTASIA: Audio-Visual Room

Fantasia – The Audio Visual Room is a wonderful facility that is engrossing and educative for the children. The kids watch educative CDs, Cartoon Films, and other learning material including puppet shows. Stage activities are also conducted in Fantasia fortnightly, where children build confidence to face the audience.

Robotics

Robots are defined as Programmable machines or gadgets that can replace humans in performing a range of tasks by executing input commands. Robotics deal with the design, construction, operation, and use of robots, as well as computer systems for their control. Teaching robotics allows students to address the growing demand of teaching STEM subjects while learning how science, engineering, math, and technology work together and interact. We aim to inspire children through our unique playful learning experiences and to play an active role in making a global difference in product safety while being dedicated promoters of responsibility towards children.

Smart Classrooms

Classrooms are spacious, well-lit, large, air conditioned, and provide the most conducive atmosphere for learning. Children and teachers take a keen interest in maintaining the cleanliness and decoration of their classrooms. All classrooms from Grade 1, are fitted with interactive boards and networking facilities. Lessons are delivered through the use of advanced technology including Projectors.

Abacus

Abacus is a brain development program. Abacus can be helpful in the development of one’s inner abilities like concentration, speed, memory, accuracy, and learning ability. Apart from Mental Maths, the abacus improves all the subjects because, with the help of the abacus, learning power gets increased. Teaching Maths to students using Abacus boosts better and faster calculation skills. It Increases endurance for stress and pressure and improves problem-solving abilities. Abacus learning sharpens concentration and observance and develops confidence and self-esteem in the students.
